WOOJU ENTEK Signs MOU with India’s SHOFT Group to Strengthen Marine Technology Cooperation

On May 27, 2025, South Korea’s leading marine and defense engineering firm, WOOJU ENTEK Co., Ltd., signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with India’s prominent shipbuilding group, SHOFT Industries Pvt. Ltd. and its affiliate, SHOFT Shipyard Pvt. Ltd.



Representing the SHOFT Group was CMDE C. S. ETHIRAJ IN (RETD), a retired Commodore of the Indian Navy, who currently serves as CEO of SHOFT Industries and Vice President & Business Head of SHOFT Shipyard.



The MOU outlines the following key areas:

  1. Establishment of a long-term strategic cooperation framework

  2. Joint development and technological exchange in shipbuilding and special-purpose marine systems

  3. Strategic expansion into Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and global markets

This MOU serves as a milestone for WOOJU ENTEK’s global outreach and a significant move toward intercontinental cooperation in marine technology.
